PUBLICATIONS OF THE GERMAN LIMES COMMISSION 

The German Limes Commission issues two different publications:

    1. DER LIMES – News bulletin of the German Limes Commission

The biannual newsletter “DER LIMES” contains up-to-date information and articles on current projects, aspects of research history as well as the latest presentations from museums, special exhibitions and memorials. The magazine is therefore intended for a broader audience.

    2. "Beiträge zum Welterbe Limes" and the associated special volumes.

The German Limes Commission publishes the series “Beiträge zum Welterbe Limes”, based on the national colloquium of experts held every two years as well as ongoing projects. This series is intended primarily for professionals and the archaeological layman.

In addition to the regular contributions, there are five special volumes that have been published.

The revised layout of the news bulletin, DER LIMES, was awarded silver as a nominee in the “Best of Corporate Publishing” category in 2013 and as a “Special Mention” in 2014.
