MEMBERS OF THE GERMAN LIMES COMMISSION

The DLK is composed of a total of 14 members: The state archaeologist as well as one ministerial representative from each of the participating states (Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, and North Rhine-Westphalia), a representative of the universities holding a chair in “Archaeology of the Roman Provinces”, the chairman of the “Committee of Roman Museums on the Limes in Germany”, a representative of the Roman-Germanic Commission of the German Archaeological Institute, and the chairman of the association of the municipalities and communities along the Limes belonging to the “German Limes Road Association”.
